Sweden’s Kalmar Industries will deliver the tractors to DP World in the summer.
Jebel Ali is the largest duty free port in the Middle East, handling 8.9 million TEUs in 2006, up from 7.7 million TEUs in the previous year. DP World’s Terminal 2 expansion, due to start operations later this year, will increase the port’s capacity by 5 million TEUs.
