The Vietnam China Express service connects Vietnam with APL’s linehaul services in Hong Kong, where cargoes are relayed to the North American East and West coasts, as well as Latin America and Mexico.
The carrier said the service will cater to Vietnam’s expanding export trade, particularly the burgeoning textile and garment industries.
APL said its transit time from Ho Chi Minh City to Seattle is 16 days, while transit to Los Angeles takes 17 days.
