Bumstead joins Exel after 13 years of experience in supply chain management with Accenture, where he worked for clients in the retail and consumer goods sectors such as Marks & Spencer, Wal-Mart, Shell U.K., Abbott International, Guinness, BOC Group and Ford.
He also helped to create the fourth party logistics (4PL) phenomenon of the mid 1990s, Exel said.
