CMA CGM to raise rates from Asia, Europe

CMA CGM to raise rates from Asia, Europe    French liner carrier CMA CGM said Wednesday it is raising rates on a host of trades from Asia and Europe effective July 1.
   The increases are:
   ' From Asia (including Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) to northern Europe (including the U.K. and Baltic nations), $275 per TEU.
   ' From Asia to the East and West coasts of South America, Central America and Mexico, $500 per TEU.
   ' From Asia to the Caribbean and Panama, $490 per 20-foot container and $700 per 40-foot container.
   ' From Asia to Mozambique, $200 per TEU.
   ' From northern Europe to the Gulf Coast of Mexico, $150 per 20-foot container and $225 per 40-foot container.
   ' From northern Europe to the Caribbean and Central America, $150 per TEU.
   ' From all of Europe to the West Coast of South America, $150 per TEU.
   ' From Pakistan and India to Europe, $250 per 20-foot container and $500 per 40-foot container.
   ' From the Arab Gulf to Europe, $150 per 20-foot container and $225 per 40-foot container.
