SEKO names director for the Americas

SEKO names director for the Americas    Forwarding and logistics services company SEKO Worldwide said Monday it has named Paco Engels managing director for SEKO Global Logistics-Americas.
   Engels will be responsible for overall sales and marketing for the Americas, and will also oversee the recruiting of SEKO partners worldwide and establishing new locations. He will also coordinate overall growth and communications for SEKO across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific regional offices.
   Engels has nearly 25 years experience in the logistics industry and has hands-on experience in international freight forwarding, the company said. He was most recently managing director for the AIT Worldwide Logistics international division, and has held senior management positions at Schenker International and Exel-Global Freight.
   He will be based at SEKO,s corporate headquarters in Itasca, Ill.
