FCBF meeting calculates ô10+2ö impact The Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association will offer a forum on U.S. Customs’ proposed cargo security measure requiring advanced data filing for imports, at its Feb. 26 meeting.
   Lenny Feldman, managing partner of the Miami officer for Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, will address ’10+2,’ the Customs and Border Protection security plan, which would require importers and carriers to electronically provide details about a shipment’s chain of custody 24 hours prior to vessel departure overseas. STR, an international trade and customs law firm, also serves as sponsor for the event.
   The meeting, 11:30 a.m., at the Hilton Miami Airport and Towers, Miami, will cover ‘how to obtain necessary information, who can file, proper automation systems/processes, bond requirements, minimizing liabilities and enhancing confidentiality,’ the FCBF said in a release.
