INTTRA partners with Argentinean logistics software firm

INTTRA partners with Argentinean logistics software firm Parsippany, N.J.-based e-commerce firm INTTRA announced Monday it will partner with Argentinean logistics software firm P&B Associates to provide supply chain services to both firms' clients throughout Latin America.
   INTTRA said the alliance will connect P&B's Forward system and the INTTRA e-commerce platform to streamline the submission of online shipment documentation. Under terms of the partnership, P&B Associates’ Forward 8.0 Software, designed for use within the freight forwarder, third-party logistics and customs broker industry, will electronically transfer shipping instruction data to INTTRA’s carrier network.
   'Online documentation of ocean export shipments means better service for clients,' said Jorge Posbeyikian, managing partner of Buenos Aires-based P&B Associates. 'Better client service means increased satisfaction levels, the most important feedback that a company could achieve. Only a partner with a global reach like INTTRA makes this level of support possible.'
   Shippers will benefit, said INTTRA, as this alliance ensures cargo agents that all their documentation processes are controlled and validated by the INTTRA platform. For forwarding agents, this alliance increases productivity and accuracy of the information in their database and avoids the duplication of data entry.
