DHL expands Taipei, Incheon hubs    DHL said Wednesday it has recently opened two new freight hubs in Asia, as well as deploying a 747 freighter on its service between Singapore and Hong Kong, offered by subsidiary Air Hong Kong.
   The company has opened a 13,500-square-foot facility at Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei that's four times larger than the one it replaced and will triple its handling capacity to 11,000 pieces per hour.
   A new hub at Incheon International Airport near Seoul will increase capacity five-fold. DHL said the hub will act as a consolidation and distribution center from South Korea to Mongolia, northern China and the Russian Far East, and will also serve as an intercontinental link to the United States and Europe.
   Meanwhile, DHL said it is introducing a 747 freighter on its Singapore-Hong Kong route, more than doubling capacity on the key route. The freighter will be operated by Air Hong Kong, a joint venture between DHL and Cathay Pacific.
