EVERGREEN, LLOYD TRIESTINO ADD YANTIAN TO ASIA/EUROPE LINK    Evergreen Line and Lloyd Triestino have added a weekly direct call at Yantian, the booming mainland China container port close to Hong Kong, to their CEM joint service between Asia and Europe.
   At the same time, the two carriers have stopped direct calls at Qingdao, in North China, on the CEM service.
   This is the first time that Evergreen and Lloyd Triestino are able to provide a direct link between Yantian and Europe. The two carriers have joined the trend of carriers in the Asia/Europe trade to introduce direct calls at Yantian or at the neighboring port of Shekou.
   The revised rotation of the service is Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Hong Kong, Singapore, Gioia Tauro, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Thamesport, Zeebrugge, Gioia Tauro, Singapore, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ningbo and Yantian.
   Evergreen already provides direct calls at Yantian for the transpacific trade as part of its Trans-Pacific Southwest service.
