Pattullo takes reins at CEVA

Pattullo takes reins at CEVA In a previously announced move, John Pattullo became chief executive officer of CEVA Logistics, replacing David Kulik, who moves up to vice chairman of the board of CEVA Group.
   CEVA is owned by investment firm Apollo Management. Pattullo previously led Deutsche Post’s DHL contract logistics business in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
      CEVA said it will operate two divisions, CEVA Contract Logistics and CEVA Freight Management, represented by the former Eagle Global Logistics that it recently acquired.
   Pattullo will lead the entire company as well as the contract logistics division. Joe Bento, formerly president of EGL, will head the Freight Management division based in Houston.
   Sam Slater will lead the Freight Management division Americas region. Bruno Sidler will lead its Europe and Middle East region and Vittorio Favati will head Asia operations.
   EGL shareholders approved the merger July 31 and the merger was completed on Aug. 2.
