Omron Healthcare picks Kuehne + Nagel for North American distribution

Omron Healthcare picks Kuehne + Nagel for North American distribution    Omron Healtcare Inc., a provider of personal home diagnostic products, has contracted with Kuehne + Nagel Logistics, Inc., to integrate Omron's North American supply chains.
   Kuehne + Nagel Logistics will manage all of Omron's import transportation, U.S. customs brokerage, and container delivery using Kuehne & Nagel's multi-client distribution center in Alsip, Illinois.
   Omron's products, which arrive in sea freight containers, are stored and distributed to retailers by means of truckload, less-than-truckload and parcel shipments.
   Omron Healthcare, based in Vernon Hills, Ill., is a subsidiary of Omron Corp., in Kyoto, Japan. Kuehne + Nagel Logistics is part of the Kuehne + Nagel Group, a Swiss provider of forwarding and logistics services
