Revenue per hundredweight, excluding fuel surcharges, should rise by between 1.5 percent and 2 percent in the same time period, the less-than-truckload carrier said.
In the first quarter, Old Dominion saw total tonnage rise by 3.5 percent to 1,717 tons on 1.6-percent fewer working days. Revenue per hundredweight ended the first quarter of 2013 at $12.89, a 2.9-percent year-over-year rise. – Jon Ross
