Poda to head new service for Alliance Shippers

Poda to head new service for Alliance Shippers    Alliance Shippers Inc., a Chicago-based provider of global logistics and transportation services, said Thursday that Greg Poda, a 20-year industry veteran with extensive air freight experience, has joined the company's sales team.
   Poda is specifically charged with developing a new service for the company, Alliance Expedited Service, which will expand the company's range of services to include domestic air freight, including same-day shipments, next-flight-out shipments, next-day a.m./p.m. and second-day a.m./p.m. shipments, the company said in a release. The service will also include ground expedited shipments, time-definite deliveries, international air exports and imports, and custom brokerage.
