AirBridgeCargo re-ups with ULD manager

   AirBridgeCargo has re-signed its unit load device (ULD)-management contract with CHEP Aerospace Solutions, extending the business relationship for another five years.
   CHEP supplied ABC with more than 5,000 ULDs each month on flights from Russia to North America, Asia and Europe. ABC primarily uses cargo pallets, but CHEP also supplies non-mainstream load devices when needed.
   CHEP, which manages a global pool of 55,000 ULDs, currently has 30 airline customers, including several all-cargo carriers. In addition to supplying the ULDs, the company maintains and repairs the units at its 50 worldwide facilities. 
   “Our long-term partnership with CHEP proves its value in our reduced ULD operational expenditure and continuous peak performance that ultimately benefits our customers,” ABC’s Alexander Lapin said in a statement. “As we work on further enhancing our service quality, we are confident that we’ve found the right partner in CHEP for all our ULD needs.
