United cuts domestic flights, redirects to international ones    United Airlines will cut passenger capacity on its U.S. domestic flights 12 percent while expanding capacity on international flights 14 percent under a plan announced Wednesday by its parent company UAL Corp.
   While passenger-oriented, the planned redeployment of aircraft between routes is also expected to affect cargo capacity. By March 2005, the company’s overall fleet will be cut 68 aircraft to 455.
   Still under bankruptcy reorganization, the airline said the changes are designed to lower costs and allocate assets to more profitable routes.
   United has launched 30 new international routes since February 2002, of which 70 percent were announced this year.
