American Essentials taps Port Logistics Group for transportation services

The logistics services provider entered into a multi-year service agreement with American Essentials, which sells and distributes socks and legwear to major U.S. and global retail outlets.    Port Logistics Group, a provider of full-service transportation and logistics for importers at several major U.S. ports, entered into a multi-year service agreement with American Essentials Inc., which sells and distributes socks and legwear to major U.S. and global retail outlets.
   American Essentials is a wholly owned subsidiary of McGregor Industries Inc.
   From its City of Industry, Calif. Retail Distribution Campus, Port Logistics Group will provide warehousing, inventory management, value-added services and regional transportation for American Essentials, Port Logistics Group said.
   The City of Industry Retail Distribution Campus features 2.5 million square feet of warehouse space and offers a full range of apparel handling services including GOH, pick and pack, inner packs, and customized customer-specific programs.
