Northern California port is Dodge City

Northern California port is Dodge City Port of Redwood City Commissioner Dick Dodge has been named as the port authority board's chairman for the ninth time in his 28 years on the commission.
   Dodge, one of the longest serving commissioners in U.S. port history, is serving his sixth five-year term as a commissioner. When his current term expires in 2010, Dodge will be in his 30th year serving as a commissioner.
   A past president of the Pacific Coast Association of Port Authorities, Dodge has also served on the group's board of directors and as a regional representative. He is also a member of the San Francisco Bay Area Water Transit Authority Technical Advisory Council.
   Prior to forming his own office products dealership 30 years ago, Dodge was the western regional manager of Airborne Express. He oversaw the company's marketing and operations efforts for an area extending from Alaska to San Diego and from Denver to Hawaii.
