The A350 plane is the mid-size long-haul competitor to Boeing’s 7E7 Dreamliner. The A350-900 will fly 13,900 kilometers. The first of the A350s will be delivered to Finnair in 2011.
Airbus said it now has 164 firm orders and commitments for the A350 aircraft from 12 airlines.
