NIT League survey queries freight transport policy    The National Industrial Transportation League will release a survey to its members following a webinar at 2-3 p.m. EST, Feb. 26, to review the National Surface Transportation Infrastructure Commission's recommendations for the future of the nation's transportation infrastructure, due to be released the same day.
   'The survey's responses will be used as a basis for formulating the league's perspective of what should be made a part of a national freight transportation policy,' said Peter Gatti, the NIT League's executive vice president.

   During the webinar, sponsored by American Shipper, Commissioner Kathy Ruffalo will make a presentation about the commission's recommendations on how to raise billions of dollars needed to maintain and enhance the country's freight transportation system.
