Milaha commences Doha-Dubai service

The Qatar-based maritime and logistics company will launch a door-to-door shipping service between the two Middle Eastern cities in May 2017.    Qatar-based maritime transport and logistics company Milaha is launching a new door-to-door shipping service between Doha and Dubai, the company said in a statement.
   Milaha said it will utilize its own vessels and infrastructure for the service, which operate on a weekly frequency and target SMEs in the automotive parts, fashion retail and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCC) sectors.
   “This new service is a great example of the advantage of our presence across the supply chain, and how we can leverage the synergies among our business units – in this case, our Logistics and Container Shipping units – to give our clients and partners seamless solutions at very competitive prices,” said Milaha President and CEO Abdulrahman Essa Al-Mannai.
   The company expects to commence the service with its first consolidated shipment in May 2017.
