JFK Air Cargo Association honors Auslander

JFK Air Cargo Association honors Auslander The JFK Air Cargo Association is honoring Rudolph “Rudy” Auslander as Man of the Year at its luncheon today.
   Auslander, who recently retired as president of Japan Airlines Management Corp., helped create and oversaw JAL’s Building 14 complex at JFK International, which is a massive, multi-tenant air cargo facility.
   He started work at JAL in 1969, was a past president of the JFK Chamber of Commerce and Kennedy Airport Airlines Management Committee, and active in many other trade groups and community organizations at the airport.
   Auslander served in the Air Force and attended the University of Alaska at Fairbanks. He worked on the construction of the Distance Early Warning System in Alaska, and for American Airlines before joining JAL.
