Virginia Thompson, formerly senior director of global transportation and trade compliance at Crate & Barrel, is leaving the home furnishings retailer to become vice president of product management at the global trade management software provider Integration Point.
Thompson provided valuable perspective as someone who sat at the very intersection of transportation and trade compliance management.
Timothy Brotzman, manager of international transport and DG compliance for the spice manufacturer McCormick & Co., is leaving his role with the company as of April 1 and will be stepping down from the editorial board. Brotzman has been a longtime member of the board and has been a trusted resource in that time.
And finally, Maryanna Kersten departs the editorial board as she’s leaving her role handling global ocean procurement, global logistics procurement and partner management for Hewlett-Packard Co. after 16 years with the company. Kersten will be taking on a new role with Del Monte Foods.
We wish Thompson, Brotzman, and Kersten all the best in their new endeavors and thank them for their diligent service to our board and American Shipper’s readers.
American Shipper’s editorial is composed entirely of shippers involved in transportation, logistics, and trade compliance.
