The New York/Berlin flights will be operated by a Boeing 757-200 aircraft, and will depart New York/Newark daily at 6:45 p.m., arriving Berlin at 8:40 a.m. the next day.
During the winter months Continental will operate five flights per week on the route, reverting to a daily service in spring 2006.
According to Continental, with the addition of Berlin, it is the leading U.S. airline in terms of cities served across the Atlantic, bringing the total to 24 in 13 countries.
