The increases are:
- From the Far East to the east coast of South America, $600 per TEU.
- From the Far East to the Caribbean (including Colombia and Venezuela, but excluding Cuba and the Colombian port of Buenaventura), $560 per 20-foot container and $800 per 40-foot or 40-foot high-cube container.
- From the Far East to Cuba, $422 per 20-foot container and $604 per 40-foot or 40-foot high-cube container.
- From the Far East to Central America, the west coast of South America (including Buenaventura, Colombia), and Mexico, $400 per 20-foot container and $800 per 40-foot, 40-foot high-cube, or 45-foot container.
- From the west coast of South America to the Far East, $150 per 20-foot container, $300 per 40-foot or 40-foot high-cube container, and $500 per 40-foot or 40-foot high-cube reefer container.
Finally, the line plans to hike rates from the Far East to East Africa by $150 per 20-foot container and $300 per 40-foot container from March 15, and by $150 per container from Northern Europe to the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East on waste and prime paper, recyclables, plastic scrap and forestry products. — Eric Johnson
