Port of Seattle appoint two to boost China trade    The Port of Seattle said it has appointed two representatives to help promote the port in China.
   Starting Jan. 31, Tong Zhu will work in Seattle as international relations manager. For the last five years, Zhu been business manager of relations with China, Hong Kong and Taiwan in the Washington State Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development.
   “She will work with the foreign trade representatives and Seattle-based marketing staff in identifying business opportunities, as well as assist local companies interested in doing business in China and other parts of Asia,” said the port.
   Wang Xing Hua has been appointed as the port’s representative in China. Xing Hua will be based in Shanghai and will begin promote Seattle’s interests in China once he ends his employment with Shanghai Jin Jiang Shipping Co. later this year.
   The port said it also has foreign trade representatives in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul and Singapore.
