Express cargo consultancy to publish white papers       The Colography Group, an Atlanta-based consulting firm specializing in express cargo, has started to publish a series of “white papers” about long-term trends that it sees in the industry.
   The first white paper focuses on the “mega-trends” that will guide the U.S. shipping business for the next 20 years. These trends include:
   * Continued dominance of the shipper.
   * Decline in average shipment weight.
   * Shift from mode-specific to time-based shipping.
   * Shortening of the average length of haul.
   White papers will be made available on the Colography Group’s Web site: https://www.colography.com.
   “Each year, the Colography Group surveys thousands of logistics decision makers,” said the company’s president Ted Scherck in a statement. “These surveys yield an abundance of valuable information on buying trends and attitudes.
   “The objective of the topical white papers is to use our date-driven insight to paint a clearer picture of trends and issues affecting the global expedited cargo marketplace,” he said.
