Munich-based logistics company establishes Scandinavian subsidiary

Robert Kukla GmbH Internationale Spedition, a logistics company based out of Munich, Germany, announced it will establish subsidiary Smartchain Logistics Nordics AB Oct. 1.    Munich, Germany-based logistics company Robert Kukla GmbH Internationale Spedition will officially establish a new Scandinavian subsidiary, Smartchain Logistics Nordics AB, Oct. 1.
   The company said in a statement it is seeking to expand its activities in Scandinavia.
   Smartchain Logistics Nordics AB will primarily focus on logistical processing of chemicals and liquid foodstuffs, such as wine and juices. These products can be transported either packaged in tautliners or containers, or as bulk goods in either road tankers or flexitanks.
   In addition, the subsidiary will also focus on handling short sea containers with destinations in Scandinavia.
   Robert Kukla specializes in multimodal, tanker and heavy goods vehicle transportation, and has extensive experience in warehouse logistics.
