The port said free time for five or more import containers on a single bill of lading will be reduced form the current 10 days to seven days. The charge for containers still at the port for eight to 15 days will be $13 a day for 20-foot containers and $25 for 40-foot containers. For periods beyond 15 days the charge will be $25 a day for 20-foot containers and $50 a day for 40-foot containers.
All charges will be in U.S. dollars and will be based on the Bloomberg exchange rate on the first day of the applicable month.
