In March, United’s freight improved 5.6 percent to 154.8 million cargo ton-miles, while mail was down 13.5 percent to 32.6 million cargo ton-miles.
After the first three months of the year, United’s system cargo ton-miles are up by the same 1.7 percent margin to 508 million, from 500 million after the same period last year.
