From the United Kingdom to West Africa, rates will rise '130 ($214) per TEU or 20-foot reefer, and '240 ($396) per FEU or 40-foot reefer.
'Trading conditions for the carriers operating in these markets are still subject to unacceptable rate levels and the situation is unsustainable in the longer term,' Maersk said.
