NYK MOVES AGENCY IN-HOUSE IN BRAZIL    NYK Line has set up its own general agency in Brazil, effective Jan. 1.
   Apart from acting as general agent, NYK Line do Brazil will also be responsible for all sales and marketing activities within the state of Sao Paulo and the rest of Brazil, with the exception of Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, Parana, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, where Lachmann Agencia Comercial Ltda. will continue to act as sales/booking sub-agents.
   Port agency work will be carried out by two sub-agents, Oceanus Agencia Maritima S/A and Fortship Brandao Filhos.
   NYK Line provides liner services between Brazil and the Far East and between Brazil and Europe. The shipping group also offers a dedicated roll-on/roll-off service between the main ports of Argentina, Brazil and the East Coast of the U.S.
