ELOGISTICS GOES LIVE IN U.K.    ELogistics, an Internet transportation exchange for shippers and providers of road transport, has been launched with '1.2 million ($2.1 million) in start-up capital.
   The business-to-business trading exchange for shippers and carriers hopes within two years to handle '20 billion worth of road transport transactions, matching orders and capacity for the freight procurement market on a real-time basis.
   Initially, ELogistics will provide services to two road transport sectors in the United Kingdom: those moving perishables and fast-moving consumer goods. The company plans to move into the pan-European high-tech electronics trucking sector and into air freight, rail and ocean transport.
