Yusen Logistics makes senior appointments

Yusen Logistics makes senior appointments    As part of the ongoing restructuring since the merging of two NYK Group companies in April 2011, Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. has made several changes to the management team in its Transportation Division.
John Lucas, senior vice president and general manager of transportation, has left the organization, effective immediately. Mike Noone, Yusen Logistics' executive vice president and chief operating officer, will now lead the division along with his existing duties. He will be supported by Mike Liantonio, vice president of operations; Alyse Lisk, vice president of marketing and operations support; and Adriene Bailey, vice president of yield management.
Bailey joins Yusen Logistics with prior intermodal experience at Pacer International, CSX and Southern Pacific Railroad. Liantonio will oversee Yusen Logistics' Transportation Division sales organization, in addition to managing the branch network teams.
'Since the merger, we have been committed to setting Yusen Logistics on a path that will support our continued growth and expansion,' Noone said. 'The Transportation Division is a key business segment for us, and we thank John (Lucas) for his hard work over the years in helping us prepare for the future.'
