Getloaded, Freightliner help truckers find cargo    Systems developer Getloaded and North American truck manufacturer Freightliner have launched an exclusive discount program for The Edge customers that creates opportunities for owner-operators to find freight.
   When drivers sign up for The Edge, Freightliner's free online service offering a variety of member benefits, they are eligible to receive two free months of Getloaded membership and a 10 percent discount for the life of their account.
   'Launching Getloaded's exclusive new discount program with Freightliner Trucks is the ideal channel, because we rarely find another company that so clearly understands what owner-operators need,' said Jon Stier, Getloaded's director of sales and marketing, in a statement.
   The Edge offers members benefits, such as insider Freightliner Trucks news, business tools, special discounts and member-only community interaction.
   “We created The Edge to be a valuable resource for our customers. We wanted to offer, among many other benefits, useful discounts like the one Getloaded is offering exclusively to our members,' said Mike McHorse, marketing segment manager for on-highway at Freightliner.
