The new service will use Boeing 747-400F freighters departing Taipei every Thursday and Saturday at 1:20 a.m. before arriving in Houston at 8:15 a.m. the same day. The return flight will depart Houston the same day at 10:35 a.m., arriving back in Taipei at 4:55 p.m. the following day.
The Taipei/Houston service makes CAL the first Asian carrier to operate a cargo service to the Texas city, and becomes the airline’s 11th all-cargo route to North America.
