He was business manager for GAC’s London Hub Agency Center, a role taken over by James Ezzard, who was previously hub coordinator for the center.
Kakaris will remain in London and his responsibilities include developing a range of services to meet the needs of companies which control the large scale movement of dry bulk commodities, such as grain, coal, ores, sugar, fertilizers and minerals. He reports to Neil Godfrey, the group sales director for GAC Shipping.
