Euroatlantic Container Line, the shipping line affiliated with the
Chilean group CSAV, has suspended its plan to enter the trade between the
U.S. East and Gulf coasts and the West Coast of South America.
The carrier had announced in March a decision to enter the trade through
a joint service with CSAV, APL, CCNI and Crowley.
A spokesman for Euroatlantic Container Line said that the plan may now
be implemented by mid-summer.
Euroatlantic continues to provide a service between the U.S. East coast
and the East Coast of South America, in cooperation with CSAV and other
carriers.
