Shipco opens Manchester, Dubai offices

Shipco opens Manchester, Dubai offices    Non-vessel-operating common carrier Shipco Transport has expanded its presence in the United Kingdom by opening a sales and customer service office in Northern England.
   Located in the heart of Manchester’s old maritime center, this office is situated within the Salford Quays, at the top of the Manchester Shipping Canal.
   In conjunction with Saco Shipping of Germany, Shipco has opened SSC Consolidation LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Adding to its Belgian and Dutch counterparts, this is the third joint venture between the two neutral NVOs.
   'With local representation and seamless access to a global network of offices and agents, the new offices provide improved customer service to the local freight forwarding communities,' Shipco said.
   Shipco is a subsidiary of Scan-Group, an international shipping and transportation company based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and has more than 2,000 employees in own offices worldwide.
