Vigor Marine buys Tacoma company

Vigor Marine buys Tacoma company    Vigor Marine, a subsidiary of Vigor Industrial, has bought the assets of Marine Industries Northwest of Tacoma, Wash.
   The transaction is expected to close by Aug. 6.
   “We already have operations in Bremerton and Everett,' said Frank Foti, president and chief executive officer of Vigor Industrial, in a statement. 'This acquisition will allow us to increase our customer and employee base in the region.”
      The company will operate the facility as Vigor Marine Tacoma, and will continue providing vessel repair, conversion, and construction services at that location.
      Vigor Marine LLC, a Vigor Industrial company, is a provider of marine repair services on the West Coast. The company has locations in Oregon, California, and the Puget Sound, and sends riding crews and remote deployment teams worldwide.
