Seago joins INTTRA network

   Seago Line, the intra-Europe subsidiary carrier of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, has joined the ocean freight booking platform INTTRA, the company said Tuesday.
   Seago’s parent company was a founding member of INTTRA, along with a handful of other European lines. The line began operations in April when Maersk segmented its pure Europe and Mediterranean routes into a separate entity.
   “”Many of our customers mentioned the time and cost savings from using INTTRA,” said Pernille Dahlgaard, customer service director at Seago Line. “Connecting with INTTRA was the logical next step to providing our customers with the e-commerce tools they need to succeed.”
   An INTTRA spokesperson told American Shipper that Maersk’s intra-Asia subsidiary MCC Transport is already using INTTRA.
