The company said the new release aims to connect supply chain execution capabilities with stores and commerce sites to improve visibility for retailers, manufacturers and distributors. Additions to its service include new integrations, global labor standards compliance, support of industry standards such as GS1 barcoding requirements, and a new traceability offering.
The company also updated its commerce, enterprise store operations, warehouse management, and workforce management product suites.
For its commerce suite, the RedPrairie Commerce Suite, the company said the new release is more robust and centered on the merchant. The company introduced new Store Center and Customer Engagement Management modules to expand inventory regulations, provide detailed customer information, open cross-channel fulfillment options, and manage customer loyalty programs. The Commerce Suite is now available as either an on-premise or cloud-based deployment.
RedPrairie Enterprise Store Operations has been updated to allow managers to perform tasks on an exception basis as well as streamlining other services. The point-of-sale management and fuel reconciliation tasks were also made more flexible.
For its warehouse management, the company enhanced its modules to include more integration capabilities, extended the support of its GS1 barcode parsing, and added more pick methods to support cluster pick and cart position information.
Some of the enhancements around the company’s workforce management tools include the ability to use text data from word processors files, flexible punch rounding rules around time and attendance, and a long-range planning tool.
RedPrairie said its solution has been installed at more than 60,000 customer sites in over 50 countries.
