Software firm IAS names two new senior executives

Software firm IAS names two new senior executives Logistics technology provider International Asset Systems announced Monday the recent appointment of two new executives.
   Jim Schreitmueller, a longtime executive at Navis LLC, has been named senior vice president of sales and marketing, and J.P. Giovanni, a former executive at GE Capital and 'K' Line, has been named senior vice president of global client services. Schreitmueller joined Oakland-based IAS on June 11, and Giovanni began at the firm in late May.
   Schreitmueller is responsible for all IAS go-to-market activities.    He spent 11 years with Oakland-based logistics software maker Navis, including serving as vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to Navis, he patented key technologies for a business unit of New Jersey-based Automatic Data Processing Inc.
   Giovanni's transportation industry experience includes vice president-level responsibilities for 'K' Line America and CGM, and director-level positions at GE Capital's Genstar and GESeaCo business units. In his new position in global client services, Giovanni manages the IAS worldwide client services team that is responsible for all customer implementations and providing ongoing support services.
