ModusLink wins Republic Wireless reverse logistics business

   The logistics service provider ModusLink Corp. has secured the reverse logistics business of wireless service provider Republic Wireless.
   The program includes customer returns, triage, repair and fulfillment of high-quality refurbished mobile devices and accessories.
   “In a case where a return or exchange is necessary, our priority is to execute the logistics of that transaction quickly and reliably for our customers,” said Alan Pendleton, director, supply chain management, Republic Wireless. “ModusLink provides the level of technical expertise and process flexibility required to deliver this positive customer experience, while providing our supply chain team with visibility of each serialized inventory asset throughout the reverse logistics lifecycle.“
   ModusLink said its returns management solution handles all aspects of returns, repair and recovery for brick-and-mortar and online retailers and manufacturers. Available solutions include reconciliation of financial transactions, customer support and integration with other logistics services.
