FCBF postpones export compliance workshop

FCBF postpones export compliance workshop The Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association has postponed an export compliance workshop scheduled for Wednesday August 30 until some time in September.
      With business disrupted by Tropical Storm Ernesto, the FCBF decided to hold off on the workshop, which was to be held at the Miami Free Zone.
   The workshop will cover Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the Commerce Control List (CCL) and Export Control Classification Number (ECCN), export licensing, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), trade embargoes, Denied Parties List, penalty actions, and the nature of current civil and criminal investigations.
   When the new date is firmed up the association will announce details.
