CMA CGM ADDS ANL TO TRANSPACIFIC SERVICE

CMA CGM ADDS ANL TO TRANSPACIFIC SERVICE    Melbourne-based ANL Container Line, a subsidiary of CMA CGM, is entering the transpacific market in late May by taking space from its parent company on the weekly “TPX 1” service.
   There is no change to the TPX1 service, which is operated with CMA CGM and Norasia ships.
   ANL will market the service as the “Asia-USA/Canada Express”. ANL will commence its involvement in the service with the eastbound sailing of the vessel “ANL California” from Shanghai on May 23.
   The “TPX1” service uses five ships of around 4,000 TEUs and calls Shanghai; Xiamen; Yantian; Hong Kong; Busan; Los Angeles, Calif.; Vancouver, B.C.; Busan;    Shanghai;    Xiamen; Yantian and Hong Kong.
   ANL also take spaces from CMA CGM on three of its Asia/Europe loops.
