PREMIER BANK TRIES OUT CCEWEBÆS @GLOBALTRADE    Denver-based Premier Bank said it will participate in the initial pilot program of CCEWeb’s @GlobalTrade Secure Payment and Trade Management System.
   In trying out CCEWeb’s new software, Premier will act as a credit-issuing bank to provide customers with an end-to-end electronic trade-processing solution.
   @GlobalTrade allows a documentary credit to be issued and advised over the Internet and eliminates the need to pay cash in advance for purchases. “This should significantly reduce the discrepancies found in documents, resulting in prompt payment and reduced bank costs and fees,” said Roy Becker, vice president and international trade officer of Premier Bank.
