Zim will use a Portugal/north Europe weekly service operated by Mils Agency to provide the feeder link. The service will use two vessels of 700-TEU capacity, with a rotation of Bilbao, Lisbon, Vigo, Bilbao, Felixtowe, Rotterdam, Goteborg, Rotterdam and Bilbao
Zim said that the port of Lisbon will serve as a transshipment port for cargoes to the East Coast of the United States and the Gulf, using the carrier’s Mediterranean-America service. For cargo to India, the Far East and Israel, Zim will move Portuguese shipments via the port of Felixtowe to its India/Europe ships.
