Amerijet takes on 767-200 cargo planes Amerijet International said Thursday it has signed a seven-year agreement with Cargo Aircraft Management to lease five Boeing 767-200 cargo planes.
   The Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based carrier, with its primary cargo operations in Miami, expects the 767s to increase capacity on its scheduled service routes, and expand its charter availability.
   'Amerijet is planning to increase frequency to several favorable markets and potentially add new long-haul routes,' said Pamela Rollins, senior vice president of business development for the carrier, in a statement.
   The carrier's fleet of eight Boeing 727-200s is deployed on scheduled and charter flights to points in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central and South America.
