U.S. keeps trade expert Sandler in official advisory role

U.S. keeps trade expert Sandler in official advisory role    Lee Sandler, a partner in the international trade and customs law firm of Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, will continue to serve as an official advisor to the U.S. government on international trade negotiations after being re-appointed to the 40-member Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Customs Matters and Trade Facilitation by Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans and U.S. Trade Representative Robert Zoellick.
   The committee advises U.S. officials during confidential trade negotiations on all aspects of the process of importing and exporting goods, customs and cross-border logistics issues.
   Sandler recently completed a four-year term on the Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, or COAC.
