ST. LAWRENCE SEAWAY DELEGATION VISITS FRANCE AND SPAIN

ST. LAWRENCE SEAWAY DELEGATION VISITS FRANCE AND SPAIN    The U.S. Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corp. and the Canadian St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corp. sent a delegation of 12 U.S. and Canadian Great Lakes executives on a trade mission to France and Spain this week.
   The trade mission will allow these executives to make contacts with maritime officials and shippers in these countries. The executives will also promote the efficiencies of using the seaway to move goods in and out of central North America.
   The first meetings for the delegation will be held in Paris, in addition to visits to the French ports of Le Havre and Rouen. Next week, the trade mission heads to Spain for meetings with maritime regulators and shippers in Barcelona.
   The delegation returns to North America on Sept. 26.
